Acceptance and the art of letting go

Letting go can be tough.
Whether it is a certain opportunity, a person you love, a friend you admire, or a dream you desire, all are hard pills to swallow.
We have all being there and we know the feeling.

So, in order to release all that is no longer serving you, let's talk about acceptance.

Acceptance - The first step in the art of letting go is accepting that what no longer serves your highest good has no place in your life.
This step can be the hardest, because life makes us attached to people and things, that's just part of human nature.
Take some time to yourself, feel the emotions come up without judging them, give yourself time to heal, search deeply within your sou,l and let your intuition guide you through the path.
A few things you can do during this time is developing a meditation routine or practicing ishwara pranidhana_surrender to they divine_(you can read more abut this in my blog about the yama and niyama)

Letting go - Release built up emotions, no matter what they are.

This can be done by crying, writing your heart out, exercising, dancing, talking to a friend or reading. Remind yourself that you are much more powerful than your mind wants you to believe, and let go of what that is keeping you feeling stuck.

Looking ahead -  In the spirit of the new year, looking ahead has become a trend we can all relate to.
Now that you learned how to let go negativity, mindfully looking ahead to the endless possibilities of your life is something to look forward to.
Having dreams and goals is a propeller to help us manifest our desires, letting them consume our every thought and living in the future is what we should NOT do. Looking ahead after letting go of buildup emotions, things, or people is the greatest feeling of relief, happiness, and so much joy, have you tried it?

If you feel confused, need guidance in in finding clarity, I invite you to schedule a 30 minute free  discovery call.

On that call I will intuitively guide you regarding your current situation, your future, purpose, and what is no longer serving you.

Time ~ by Naomi of Gratitude Vietnam

A year ago, I had six months left of a two year contract.  I had signed the contract to save for a new life, start a business and leave the safety of the institution of education I had been happily ensconced in since starting school at the age of five. Six months felt like a life-sentence, yet when they had passed, it felt as though the time had run away in a flash! The impact of this perplexingly contextual perception of time during this period has stayed with me, and got me thinking… For as long as beings have been conscious on this planet, there has been witness to the passing of time. Whether through observation of changing seasons, passing of day and night, tidal movement, interplanetary movement or stars, each and every civilisation has found a way to measure, record, navigate and ‘manage’ time. We divide days into hours, lives into years, history into eras, evolution into periods. Our own lives we ‘chapter’ and bookmark by pivotal moments, decisions made (for better ...

Acquiring a meditation practice can change your life in more ways than one.  This ancient technique is one that has transcended from generations to generations as a tool for mental and spiritual growth that changes the world within and around you.  Practicing different meditation techniques can help you focus and feel more connected to the present moment, to yourself, and your higher power. In doing so, you can lower your stress level, achieve higher self-awareness, and improve your tolerance for pain, to name a few.   Did you know that there are various types of meditation?   Below are five types of them you can choose from or alternate within your daily routine. Mindfulness Meditation   There are various types of mindfulness meditation. Essentially, mindfulness is a type of meditation in which you focus on being intensely aware of what you're sensing and feeling in the moment, without interpretation or judgment. Practicing mindfulness involves breath...

Your new life is going to cost you your old one

Maybe the fact that i saw my first dead body floating in the Ganga today prompted me to write this. He was all curled up, face down, left leg missing from the knee down. Sadhu's orange clothes bundled up, back showing. His floating had come to a stop, the river's current being slow and we helped him going his way moving the water with our cupped hands to create waves. My first thought was to take a picture, and the second 'how insensitive of me to even think that'. i mean, it's not like i need a photo to remember the feelings, emotions, and thoughts this event brought up. It's an image i will never forget. Also possibly the fact that i was attacked by two stray cats in two days, in two separate occasions made me think about death and the brevity of human life. It is quite frightening, let me tell you! Without notice the cat shape-shifts into this crazy fast ball that you think is going to attack your hair or something. In both instances the mother cat was...
